It was great having SOS on board with our recent trip to Malaysia. All 4 members who used the product found it excellent. We used it when traveling to and from Malaysia and I feel like it made a big difference with jet lag and recovering from the flights.
I found that training in the humidity you can really notice when you are not hydrated I get kind of a hazy feeling and can’t think properly, having SOS took this away and made me feel clear headed and ready to train and compete! Richie and I didn’t have to drop much bodyweight so just keeping consistently hydrated was what we used SOS for and found it great. We would all use SOS again and found it very helpful with our performance.

With our intense training in the heat combined with my strict dietary requirements to make my weight class, it was nice knowing I was using a reliable electrolyte replacement drink that would keep me hydrated but was also low in calories and unwanted sugars you find in other replacement drinks.
After having to dehydrate to make body weight for competition, SOS was a perfect choice for fast rehydration after weighing in for the competition. I felt energised and ready to go once I had refuelled my body. Past experience with other sports replacements saw me feel as though I was on a ‘sugar high’ after rehydrating which usually resulted in me having to refuel myself with a source of sugar half way through competition after feeling sleepy and tired.
SOS has nothing in that you don’t need to help refuel your body for competition. I would definitely use the product again both in training and i competition.
I found it helped rehydrate without having too much sugar which was ideal, less chance of a sugar crash. Also was great having less calories than most hydration drinks. Which helped with making weight for the first week in Malaysia. Definitely would use it again for the next time I have to make weight!!

Phillipa Hale 5th in the 53kg Womens Weightclass (New Zealand Record Snatch 75kg and Total 170kg)
Lauren Roberts 7th in the 63kg Womens Weightclass ( New Zealand Record Clean and Jerk 89kg)
